PHLX Indexes

PHLX Semiconductor Sector Index (SOX)

 The PHLX Semiconductor SectorSM (SOXSM) is a modified capitalization-weighted
index composed of companies primarily involved in the design, distribution,
manufacture, and sale of semiconductors.
The Index was set to an initial value of 200 on December 1, 1993 and was split
two-for-one on July 24, 1995; options commenced trading on September 7,
1994.

Merrill Lynch Technology 100 Index (MLO)

The Merrill Lynch 100 Technology Index (MLO) is an equal-dollar weighted index of 100 stocks designed to measure the performance of a cross section of large, actively traded technology stocks and ADRs. The MLO Index was developed with a base value of 200.00 as of January 30, 1998. The MLO Index is rebalanced annually based on closing prices on the third Friday in December.
